Divine Liturgy in Lebanon for March 25th, “We are very afraid,” says Greek woman to protothema (video-photos)

A Divine Liturgy for the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary was held this morning, on March 25th, by the Christians of Lebanon.

Marinos Aleiferis, the correspondent for protothema.gr, met in a Beirut neighborhood with 30-year-old Greek woman Solange Hadad, who shared the feelings of those remaining in Lebanon amid the ongoing new war in the Middle East.

“The situation is not good, we are very afraid, we want to leave,” said Solange, who has a 7-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter with a Lebanese man.

According to her, her parents are in Greece, and she is the only one remaining in Lebanon with her family.

In fact, Greek homes also raised the Greek flag to honor the national anniversary.
