Filming of the highly anticipated movie The Riders, starring Brad Pitt, continues in Menidi, this time at one of the oldest studios in Athens.
After the first scenes were filmed on Hydra and continued in Chalcis, Kotzia Square, and Nea Makri, the Hollywood star and the production team’s next stop was Menidi. According to information from ProtoThema, preparations had been taking place for about a week both inside and outside the studio, where well-known TV shows, series, and game shows have previously been filmed.
Today, Monday March 16, Brad Pitt was at the studio to shoot a scene of an artificial storm. Inside the studio, a boat was placed on a motion platform, and with the use of high-pressure water systems, large amounts of water were sprayed to recreate the effect of rough seas.

Outside the studio, where production vehicles for actors and stunt performers were parked, there was a lot of activity. Members of the production team were present, as well as fans of Brad Pitt hoping to see him up close. Local residents said they didn’t manage to speak with the actor, only with the security staff, who were friendly toward them.
Filming with Brad Pitt in Greece began on February 19 on Hydra, with the island transformed into a movie set. Several scenes there involved intense weather effects, using huge fans and special piping systems to create storm-force winds and torrential rain effects.
